Local Homeschoolers Unmask their Creativity Print

Creative Writing ClassSeptember 2012 - Local first and second grade homeschoolers proudly display zoo masks they have made to go with their animal stories in creative writing class at the Academy Days Homeschool Co-op.

Students in the front row are Daniel McDow of Tallassee and Cole Murphy of Millbrook; students in the back row are Bella Barnett of Deatsville, Ada Colburn of Montgomery, Natalie Lantz of Millbrook, Drew Dawe of Montgomery, and Zach Vinson of Clanton.

The Academy Days Homeschool Co-op, held weekly during the school year at Coosada Baptist Church in Coosada, is designed for preschool through high school students to learn subjects difficult to teach at home or best taught in group settings.
