Black Forest Cake (Germany) |

Ingredients: 2 boxes Devil's food cake mix (or any dark brown cake mix) eggs oil water Home-made Cherry Liqueur (3 T butter, 3 T sugar, 1 T cherry flavoring/extract, 2 T half-n-half milk) Whipped cream Maraschino cherries
Directions: Make cake as directed. Cook in 2 round cake pans. Melt butter and sugar together, add other liqueur ingredients and make sure sugar is dissolved. Drizzle on both cakes. Spread whipped cream on bottom cake for the middle layer. Put top layer on and finish frosting with whipped cream.
Decorate with cherries and shaved chocolate.
